This is my entry for i heart faces, category: Angles

For this week's photo challenge, we are focusing on unusual angles. Stand higher than your subject, lay on the ground, move to the side, tilt your camera while you are shooting...do what you need to do to give your photo a uniqueness of it's own. A unique angle is what this week is all about.

She loves to climb trees, and we have lots of trees! She comes away with scratched legs and arms and a resolved determination to go higher next time. Please honey, no higher!

Look what was buzzing around while we sat outside. In the spring, bees like to bore holes in the wood planks underneath the deck roof. There are small piles of sawdust on the deck under the holes. I'm not sure what they do in those holes, but it is interesting to watch.

We took a detour after our soccer games to go have lunch and of course, the kids found plenty of trees to climb on. Thanks Kim, for coming with us.

Friday afternoon was so beautiful. Clear, warm, no wind. Add to that no homework, no practices to get to, no games, no deadlines, no obligations. We just played in the backyard and made homemade pizza.

Sing birds, sing! I stand in my yard in the mornings, close my eyes and listen. I hear all sorts of birds. Layers of chirps, twills, songs, and calls. I look up and try to find them. But they hide in the tops of the trees and my neck gets sore before I see them.

This is my entry for i heart faces, category: Jump for Joy

Sunday evening as we were walking home from the barn, the kids decided to have a jumping contest off of the fence. Good timing for me! I think they are practicing up on all their jumps for when it is diving board weather again.
