I was walking the kids along our winding dirt road out to the bus stop.  It was just before 8 am.  I nearly walked right into this spider web.  The talented spider had strung its web across the entire road.  It was a large web, right at my face level.  I didn't see it until the last minute.  It was really beautiful all covered with dew.  The web looks a bit broken; it must have been a successful evening of catching bugs. 

It doesn't look nearly as interesting in these photos as it did in real life.

More pictures of Kate riding.  Boring, I know.  But it's cool weather now, perfect for riding.  Here she is on Sun Ray, whom I (not so) affectionately call "Outlaw".  Too much horse for Kate.  She did stay on when Sun Ray reared up then bucked. 

Enough of Outlaw!  Kate got back on the beautiful and responsive Judy.
