Wow, one week of not a single photo or post. That is the longest I have gone in years. The past two weeks it feels like my life has been dumped upside down. Anyone ever feel that way? My goal is to stick with my photos as best I can.

Look out, here comes summer! What are you doing this summer? Us? Look for lots of photos of the beach, the pool and even an airport!! Yippee!

Is this Wood Stork doing some home repair on her nest? I like the head poking out of the side.

After watching the gator for a while I got a bit bored, because usually they don't do much. However, he did provide some action; he got into the water. Wow! I know, very exciting! Who says I don't do action shots??

I saw this gator on the other side of the bank. For those of you who may be concerned that he was a bit close, you can see from the one picture that the gator was actually quite far away. I didn't even notice him at first. (Now, there may indeed be gators on my side of the bank, I just can't see them because of the high reeds.)

I think this is a Tri-Colored Heron (Egtretta tricolor) or it may be a Little Blue Heron (Egretta caerulea). Either way she was sitting on her eggs and got up to stretch her legs allowing me to get these shots. She didn't take too long of a break and was soon back to her sitting duties.
