This is me.

I wish I was back on this summer day, in the mountains. No schedules. No homework. No responsibilities. Just relaxing, and laughing.

But I'm not, so I will enjoy the day I had today. It was a good one, too. Just not so relaxing, but I did get in some hearty laughs!

I was coming home from taking the kids to the school bus and I had my camera with me. I had taken off my big zoom lens in exchange for my macro lens. Imagine my disappointment as I watched two hawks, mid-air, fighting over breakfast that one of them had hanging from it's talons. Too bad. Instead you get to see this guy.

It was her very first game, ever. Prior to the game she told me that she thought she would rather go to practice than to a game. I reassured her that I was certain she would have lots of fun come game time.

A bit of coaching, then she got her game face on and was ready to play ball.
