I like this family pic. I don't know if the family will, but I like it.
Unfortunately, it is a bit blurry. As the sun was setting, I wasn't watching my shutter speed and I ended up with a whole lot of blurry photos. It was one of those things that I should have known better. I started out in manual, but for some reason switched to aperture priority and never made it back to manual. Seriously, why do I still make silly mistakes? This is why I'm a hobby photographer. It makes me feel a bit sick to my stomach to think of all those blurry photos.

Last January I went on a photo shoot to a private air field. It was amazing to watch these planes take off, fly and then land again. I only wish I could have gone up in one of them.

I took my girls to see the movie "Rio" last night. At one point in the movie, I leaned over to one of my daughters and whispered in her ear, "See that big pink bird that just saved them? That's a Rosetta Spoonbill, just like the picture on my blog."
