This is my entry for i heart faces, category: scenic black and white

I really struggle with black and white. I just love color. Vivid color. I like black and white for portraits, but I really struggled to find the beauty of nature in black and white. Guess I'm no Ansel Adams.

This is my son riding his bike down our dirt road on a very rainy afternoon. In the color version you can see the hazy in the air. It is one of my favorite shots.

We went to the beach again today. It wasn't as sunny, but still lots of fun. There was a bit of rain earlier and that may have scared people away. For most of the time we were the only ones there. I love it.

I love it here!

The kids were off of school today and we went to the park. While there, we decided it was much too beautiful of a day not to go to the beach. We were not planning a beach day and didn't have all our beach "stuff", including swimming suit. Doesn't matter. We still had fun.

This is my walk home, along my dirt road after dropping the kids off at the bus (8:05 am).

We don't have a wide variety of fall colors, most things stay green or turn brown for a couple months. But I thought this tree was pretty with the morning light on it.

Ahhhh! Big Sigh! Two kids are finished soccer for a couple months. Fun season, glad it's over. I need a break.
