April 13, 2009

The i heart faces contest this week has an "amateur" category. I absolutely fit their definition of amateur: "You are an Amateur if you love to take photos, have been working on getting better at photography (ie. reading books, taking classes, studying online photography sites, etc.), but are not up to the level where you feel comfortable charging people for the photos you take for them yet. You also feel like you still have a lot more to learn about photography!"

This is my entry for i heart faces amateur category, theme: Easter/Spring

Kate had to climb the tree to get one of the last eggs (kids don't think to look UP when hunting for eggs). However, she took her eye off the goal for just a second and as such, dropped the egg!

Oh my! The bunny really makes you work for it at your house! I wonder if he knew what a terrific shot he was setting up! Very nice.

What a great job capturing that in the moment. You can tell she got distracted.

Ah! I hope she still got the egg. Gotta love the "easter bunny" who got so into the egg hunt that he/she climbed a tree to hide one. :)

What absolute timing! She is still looking at you, the egg is completely unblurred...to be honest, I thought it was tied up there until I read your description. Way to be on the shutter release!

What a wonderful photograph...this reminds me of being a little girl...my mother always hid eggs in the most unusual places...forcing me to think critically...thanks for sharing!

The egg hunting tradition looks like so much fun. We don`t have that as a tradition in Norway... Something to start with perhaps ;)
Gorgeous photo of your sweet girl!
