Here is an average summer day at our house:The kids get up and go to the barn. They visit the horses, chase a few chickens and talk to the turkey (he is quite a social bird, rub his belly and he will sit on your lap).
Sometimes they have chores that need to be done.
We often go swimming.
If we are not at the pool, sometimes we grab our boards and head to the beach.
The kids go back to the barn.
When it gets too hot or it rains, we do puzzles, games and reading ... or pretend to be Spiderman and save everyone in the house.
We love to play baseball in the backyard. It is especially great when cousins and grandparents join in.
After a busy day, every one is tired. A couple more trips to the barn and then it's time for every one to get some sleep.

WOW! Such a different life than what I lead here in the city! I always wonder what it would be like to have a barn filled with animals... and that turkey... cannot believe he just lets you pet him like that!
I want to move in. In the next life, can I be one of YOUR kids????? Those pictures are sooooo awesome.
